Meet The Brothers
Jacoby
Jacoby Trimble is the founder and president of The Brotherhood Empowerment Group, born and raised in Dallas, Texas. He has served in Dallas law enforcement for over 13 years, bringing both leadership and compassion to his role. Jacoby married his wife, Aunna, in 2021, and while they have no children of their own, they both share a deep love for kids. A lifelong fan of basketball and football, his favorite teams include the Dallas Cowboys and whichever team LeBron James plays for.
The idea for The Brotherhood was placed on Jacoby’s heart by God and sparked from a simple social media post — one that led four close friends to join him in launching the organization. His mission is to be a big brother and positive role model to every young man they encounter. Through mentorship, communication, and consistency, Jacoby and The Brotherhood aim to instill leadership, accountability, and faith in the next generation.
Lamont
Lamont Floyd (no relation to Floyd Mayweather or Sleepy Floyd — for all the old timers) is a proud husband, father of two, and dedicated member of The Brotherhood Empowerment Group. Originally from North Carolina, he now calls Texas home and brings a deep sense of purpose to the group’s mission. He’s been married for 4 years and is a father to two beautiful children.
Lamont joined The Brotherhood to help lead, steward, and inspire the next generation of young men. Having grown up in a single-parent household, he understands firsthand the value of strong, positive male influences in a young man’s life. His passion for mentorship is rooted in a desire to help boys rise above their circumstances and realize their potential. Lamont is committed to doing the work needed to uplift the community and believes there’s no better group of men to do it with. Together, he and his brothers aim to build a legacy of leadership, faith, and resilience.
MiChael
Michael Porter is a proud Dallas native, an entrepreneur, and a dedicated member of The Brotherhood Empowerment Group. He owns Urban Legends Retros and Exclusives LLC, a shoe store he founded in 2014, and has five years of experience in the construction and sanitation industry. A former college football player at Howard Payne University and the University of North Texas, Michael has always valued discipline, teamwork, and education. He’s been married to his wife, Monique, for over 9 years and is a proud father to two sons, Landen and Airion.
Michael's passion for mentoring youth began during his college years through the YMCA’s Big Brother program. His lifelong friendship with founder Jacoby Trimble led him to join The Brotherhood’s mission to guide and uplift young men. Through this work, he aims to instill leadership, accountability, and respect in the next generation.
BRUCE
Bruce Gardner Jr. is a devoted husband, father of three, and a committed member of The Brotherhood Empowerment Group. He has worked for over a decade as a Privacy Analyst at Nissan Motor Acceptance Company, bringing professionalism and attention to detail to everything he does. Outside of work, Bruce is an avid bowler — a hobby that evolved into a true passion and a second source of income. He’s been married for six years and takes great pride in raising his three children: a 19-year-old daughter, a 15-year-old son, and a 9-year-old daughter.
Bruce’s desire to guide and support young men led him to join The Brotherhood, where he strives to be a steady voice of wisdom and encouragement. He is passionate about protecting, providing for, and pouring into the next generation. He looks forward to helping young men grow into confident, capable leaders.
Josiah
Josiah Jones is a servant, creative, father of three , and proud member of The Brotherhood Empowerment Group. He’s an artist and entrepreneur, starting a clothing brand, Age 100, that also highlights his willingness to impact others with his gifts.
Josiah is committed to helping young men reconnect with their identity, purpose, and God-given potential. Whether through conversation, design, or mentorship, Josiah believes in planting seeds of leadership, faith, and confidence in the next generation. He joined The Brotherhood to walk alongside like-minded men who are serious about showing up for boys who need it most.
